Solving Linear Inequalities Calculator is used to calculate the value of the variable of the linear inequality equation. Inequality equations are equations that have greater than or smaller than instead of equal to sign. This calculator calculates the equation by bring the variable on left side, and then simplify to get the value of variable.

Example 1: Using solving linear inequality calculator to solve the equation
(2x + 5) + 22 < 30

For the given problem: To bring variable on left side we will subtract both sides by 22

(2x + 5) + 22 - 22 < 30 - 22; (2x+5) < 8

Subtract both the sides by 5

2x + 5 – 5 < 8 - 5; 2x < 3

Divide both the sides with 2

x < 3/2

Answer: x less than 3/2

Example 2: Using solving linear inequality calculator to solve the equation
(2x + 5) - (5x+3) = 6

For the given problem: We will simplify the equation 1st

2x – 5x + 5 – 3 = 6; 2 – 3x = 6

To bring variable we will add both sides by 3x and subtract both sides by 6, we get

2- 3x + 3x – 6 = 6 – 6 + 3x

2- 6 = 3x

 -4 = 3x

3x = -4

x = -4/3
