Exponent or index is a number which is raised over another number (called the base) and the expression value is calculated. Rational exponents means when the exponent is of fractional form over the base, and we have to evaluate the value of this radical expression. Rational exponent’s calculator is an easy tool which can evaluate the value of these expressions.

Example 1:Evaluate the value of the give rational exponent expression: 3√ (76)

Given rational exponent expression: 3√ (76)

According to the Law of exponents, we can re-write the above notation as -> (7)6*1/3

Now the exponent is in the rational form and we can simplify it further since they are multiplied!

(7)6*1/3 = (7)2 = 49

Hence the rational exponent expression value is -> 3√ (76) = 49

Example 2: Evaluate the value of the give rational exponent expression: 8√ (25)4

Given rational exponent expression:8√ (25)4

According to the Law of exponents, we can re-write the above notation as  -> (25)4*1/8

Now the exponent is in the rational form and we can simplify it further since they are multiplied!

-> (25)4*1/8 = (25)1/2 = √ (25) = ±5

Hence the rational exponent expression value is  -> 8√ (25)4 = ±5
