Order of operations calculator basically uses the arithmetic operations applied on simplifying the mathematical expressions. Evaluating mathematical expression based on symbols used in the expression. In this, mathematical expressions evaluated form left to right. For solving mathematical expressions we can use PEDMAS rule.PEDMAS can be defined as shown below.

P means Parenthesis (Evaluate the inner values in the Parenthesis)

E means Exponent or Powers (Simplify the exponents and powers)

D means Division (Apply the division operation)

M mean Multiplication (Apply the multiplication)

A means Addition (Add the like numbers)

S means Subtraction (Subtract operation applied)

Example 1: Evaluate the given expression by using order of operations.
12 + 2 *(16 -4)/3

Here we need to simplify the given expression.

Given that 12 + 2 *(16 -4)/3 <- simplify the inner values of parenthesis. (Since 16-4=12)

=12 + 2 *(12)/3 <- do the Division operation. (Since 12/3 =4)

= 12 +2 * 4 <-do the Multiplication operation. (Since 2*4 =8)

= 12 + 8 <- add the numbers 12 and 8.we will get the answer.

= 20

Answer is 20.

Example 2: Evaluate the given expression by using order of operations.
10+ (5^2 -4)/ 7

Given that 10+ (5^2 -4)/ 7 <- simplify the exponent. (Since 5^2=25).

=10 + (25-4)/7<- simplify the inner values of parenthesis. (Since 25-4=21).

=10 + (21)/7 <- do the Division operation. (Since 21/7=3).

=10 + 3 <- add the numbers 10 and 3.we will get the answer.

=13.

Answer is 13.
