Fraction notation is a widely used notation in math. Fraction is usually written in the “p/q” form. Here ‘p’ is the numerator and

'q' is the denominator which can't be equal to zero. The calculator tool used to convert any given number into a fraction notation

is called as Fraction notation calculator.

Example 1: Convert the given decimal number 6.25 into a fraction notation.

The given decimal number 6.25 has two decimal spaces.

The decimal spaces can be moved if the decimal number is multiplied and divided by 100.

This can be written as (6.25 * 100) / 100.

This further gives the fraction form as 625/100 which can be further simplified by dividing by the common factor 25.

This gives 625/100 = 25/4.

Hence the fraction notation = 25/4.

Example 2: Convert the given decimal number 0.24 into a fraction notation.

The given decimal number 0.24 has two decimal spaces.

The decimal spaces can be moved if the decimal number is multiplied and divided by 100.

This can be written as (0.24 * 100) / 100.

This further gives the fraction form as 24/100 which can be further simplified by dividing by the common factor 4.

This gives 24/100 = 6/25.

Hence the fraction notation = 6/25.
