## Online Tutoring Is The Easiest, Most Cost-Effective Way For Students To Get The Help They Need Whenever They Need It.

In Math, Algebra mainly consists of expressions most commonly known as Algebraic expressions. These

expressions are made up of terms separated by addition, subtraction, multiplication or division operations.

Based on the number of terms, expressions can be called monomials, binomials, trinomials etc. Expressions

calculator is the simple online tool which can easily simplify or find a value of an expression.

Example 1: Simplify the given algebraic expression: 8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 3

Given algebraic expression: 8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 3

In order to simplify the given expression, we combine the like terms.

Like terms are the terms which have the same variable.

Hence we group the like terms together in parenthesis!

(8x – 4x) + (6y – 9y) + (-7 – 2 + 3) > 4x – 3y – 6

Hence (8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 6) = 4x – 3y - 6

Example 2: Give the value of the expression: 8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 3

when x= 1 and y= 2.

Given algebraic expression: 8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 3

We first simplify the given expression >  hence combine the like terms.

(8x + 6y – 7 – 4x – 2 – 9y + 6)=4x – 3y - 6

Now substitute the value of x = 1 and y = 2 in the above simplified expression.

4x – 3y – 6 > 4(1) – 3(2) – 6

4 – 6 – 6 > -8 is the value of the expression.
