The formula for discriminant of a quadratic equation is b2 - 4ac.

Therefore è 52 – (4 * 2 * 3) = 25 - 24 =1.

Hence the discriminant of the equation is equal to 1.

Discriminant in this case is a positive number hence èthe given quadratic equation has two real solutions.
