The calculator tool used to solve and evaluate different kinds of equations involving algebraic expressions, equalities and inequalities is the Algebraic calculator. Algebra is a very prominent and important topic in math where variables and numbers are used in order to find known and unknown quantities using different connections and representations.

Example 1: Solve for x in the equation 4x + 12 = 36

For a given equation if the value of a variable is unknown, then the equation is solved

in order to find the value of the variable.

Different algebraic operations are used in order to solve the given equation.

4x + 12 = 36

Subtract 12 on both sides of the equation.

4x +12 -12 = 36 -12

4x = 24

Now, divide by 4 on both sides of the equation.

4x/4 = 24/4;

x = 6

Hence the value of the unknown variable x is 6

Example 2: Evaluate 5x + 2y - 3z given the value of x = 2, y = 3 and z = 2.

To solve the given expression, plug in the values of x = 2, y = 3 and z = 2 in the equation
5x + 2y + 3z.

This gives us 5*2 + 2*3 - 3*2 = 10 + 6 -6 = 16 - 6 = 10.

Therefore the value of 5x + 2y - 3z for the given values of x, y, z is equal to 10.
