If a number is raised to an exponent, then the exponent represents how many times that number is repeated by itself. Here the number which holds the exponent is called the base and the exponent is also called as “power”, “degree” or “index” for the base. Exponent Calculator is a tool used to find the answer after a number is raised to an exponent!
Example 1: Find the answerwhen 4 is raised to the exponent 3 and the answer for 52.

Here ‘4’ is the base and ‘3’ is the exponent and the symbolic representation of this
question is: 43

'4’ is multiplied repeatedly by itself ‘3’ times!

43 = 4 * 4 * 4

43 = 64

Similarly, 52 means ‘5’ is repeatedly multiplied by itself ‘2’ times.

52 = 5 * 5

52 = 25

Example 2: What is the answer when 25 is added to 34?

To find the addition of two numbers with exponents, first we need to find the answer for
each individual one!

So 25 means that ‘2’ is repeatedly multiplied by itself ‘5’ times.

25 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

25 = 32

Similarly 34 = 3 * 3 * 3 * 3

34 = 81

Now adding them, we get 25 + 34 = 32 + 81 = 113
